Read full description of the books:
Gary Geiecki (pronounced Gee-ecki) is a skilled assassin. He's been an unofficial CIA killer for the past twenty years and has decided to retire. There is no such thing as a truly perfect assassin and Gary was no exception. He was, however, very good. Gary left a wide trail of bodies behind him, over his long and productive career. Riddled with childhood insecurities and social awkwardness Gary desperately tries to move forward with his life after retirement. He quickly finds it is far easier to kill someone else than it is to kill the ghosts of the past. Gary soon learns that what is in the past doesn't always stay there. His greatest enemy... a man thought long dead... is back and seeking vengeance. Gary must now fight for not only his life, but everyone he holds dear and finally put this last ghost to rest. Gary will learn that the old saying You can't go home again isn't exactly true. You can go home again, but you shouldn't.

Update 7/10/2017 I got a very nice review from Joe Kilgore at the US Review of Books which is very nice. If you'd like to read the review, it's here:
Update 7/1/2017 It never ceases to amaze me how my industry works. I've been a professional writer now for going on 18 years and the roundabout way things happen is always new, weird and in the end pretty bizarre.
My novel The Geek has had a long and strange life. Originally it was developed as a television series, going to pilot script twice and never beyond that point.
Then a few years later it was developed as a feature film and never got out of the development process.
When I was approached to turn The Geek into a novel, I decided it was worth the effort for a number of reasons. The first being that I love telling stories and want people to enjoy the stories I create. The second reason was the challenge of going from film and television work to writing prose.
The Geek turned from a campy, over the top, live action comic book into a hardboiled pulp thriller and I have to say I am quite proud of the end result.
The interesting thing that's happened recently is that my little pulp novel has been optioned and is under development as a television series.
I am of course very grateful for this and am having a blast working with the producers on the project, but it certainly was a long, and winding figure 8 to come full circle.
I have been incredibly busy with film work (mainly consultation) and some TV work but will have a slate of new reads coming out in 2017 and 2018 for my fellow book lovers.
I will post the updates next week and lay out the release schedule for those who are interested...and for those who are not.
Have a great 4th of July everyone!
